Drain Technologies President, John Votel, has been in the drain cleaning industry for more than 12 years. Over these 12 years and with over 10,000 service calls to his companies resume. Having more than one account that had the same problem several times per month, John started working on a economical solution to this repetitive, expensive problem for his clients. The concept was born.

The result of the research is the DRAINSAVERS^® line of waste water filtration systems. These are easy to use and maintain and are constructed of durable plastic with elevated cantilevered panels that are calibrated for maximum flow capacity. They utilize an economical, disposable filter element making them easy to maintain.

We are continuing to expand our product line of waste water filtration systems and design custom products for industry.

We set out to reduce the repetitive problems pertaining to commercial and industrial drain service lines. Understanding the introduction of the debris that caused a preponderance of commercial drain problems.

Another benefit of using the product is capturing the debris in the filter that would normally have been introduced into the municipalities sewer lines. This also greatly reduces the amount of debris wastewater treatment plants have to remove during the treatment process. This creates a secondary environmental benefit of using the DRAINSAVERS^® system.
